Rangers Boss Demands Consistency from Dessers, Balogun – Latest Sports News In Nigeria

Leon Balogun started for Rangers in the place suspended Connor Goldson, while Cyriel Dessers came off the bench in the second half for Fabio Silva, who joined on loan from Wolves.

The Nigerian forward made an instant impact by scoring Rangers third of the game, his seventh goal of the season for the Gers.

Dessers was denied a second-goal in the final moments of the game as the Hibs goalkeeper pulled off a good save to prevent a blow out.

“It’s a well deserved victory and what I wanted to see,” Clement told BBC Scotland. “This is a difficult place to come to. It’s not easy against a team like Hibs.

“With the ball we did the right things and scored three good goals. We had total domination [in the second half]. It’s pleasing and what I want to see more and more.”

Balogun and Dessers will now turn their attention to another away match in the Scottish Premiership as they make the short trip to Paisley to face St Mirren on Saturday.
