Balogun got injured during Rangers’ win over Kilmarnock on Sunday.
The defender’s sustained the injury in the first half, prompting his substitution with Ben Davies after the break.
Balogun, who had only recently returned to action after a period on the sidelines, now faces uncertainty regarding the extent of his injury.
Clement, addressing the situation post-match, disclosed that the Nigerian sustained a muscle injury.
“Yes he (Balogun)was injured, that is why I had to replace him. I hope it is a small muscle injury,” Clement was quoted by Rangers Review.
“We will see in the next couple of days. But he struggled too much to continue.”
With just 14 league appearances for the Light Blues this season, the 35-year-old defender’s contribution has been hampered by recurring injuries.
