Jake Paul mocks Mike Tyson by showing footage of his bizarre 'first day of training' ahead of boxing bout

Jake Paul isn’t taking his fight with Mike Tyson too seriously – judging by his social media activity.

Tyson has been documenting his training after the pair announced their July 20 showdown, sending intimidating messages during powerful barrages on the pads.

Paul has reacted to the 57-year-old’s footage insisting he is ready for the potential test that the former undisputed world champion could provide.

And in trademark fashion from the influencer, he has since produced a sketch on Instagram of his own supposed first day in training camp.

The ‘Problem Child’ can be seen arriving on a private jet in party-like attire, before jumping off, saying, ‘Day one of training,’ where he then headed to a lavish spot.

He is later seen clutching a plush bottle of champagne in a packed venue, with the crowd singing along to famous hit ‘Freed From Desire’.

The 26-year-old captioned the video: “Day 1 of sending Mike Tyson back to his podcast for good.”

Paul’s intention would be to suggest that he is not taking the fight seriously, which wouldn’t shock fans given their 31-year age gap.

His rival’s footage has been the exact opposite, although fans haven’t been convinced given he has only shown his power against a heavy bag.

The boxing icon’s original footage suggested to fans that he could be in trouble, with Paul likely to be the fresher of the pair.

Health warnings have even been issued to ‘Iron’ Mike by doctors who have expressed fears over his brain damage.

Despite Paul’s seemingly relaxed approach to the lucrative showdown, Tyson’s trainer Rafael Cordeiro insists the heavyweight will be searching for a big KO.

Fans think Jake Paul will cancel upcoming fight with Mike Tyson as boxing legend posts new training footage

He said on the MMA Hour: “I believe we don’t have to be concerned about it. We’re talking about a two-time world champion.

“The guy didn’t have 20 fights in two years, he knows how to fight. He’s fought against the best guys in the world.

“When he steps inside the ring he knows what to do. It’s not something new for Mike, and this fight is no different.

“He works hard every single day to go in there and try to knock Jake out from the beginning to the end. He’s going to prove that in July.

“You can see fire in his eyes when he trains, and he will never give less than that.

“Mike is going to step into the ring as the old Mike Tyson, and he’s going to try and knock out Jake from the beginning to the end.”
