'How does he move this fast?' - Mike Tyson leaves fans astonished in new footage with 'speed' warning to Jake Paul

Mike Tyson is doing all he can to show fans he’s more than ready to take on Jake Paul later this year.

Heavyweight legend Tyson will be 58 years old when he touches gloves with Paul on July 20, and has already begun training for the showdown in a bid to prove critics wrong.

Fans feared for ‘Iron’ Mike as early footage emerged, but he has continued to document his training – battering the pads on multiple occasions.

Tyson posted new footage of him on the road where he could be seen crushing the pads, captioning the Instagram upload: “Can’t wait for this to be Jake.”

The short clip showed Tyson working up a sweat by showing his ferocious power once again in a brief burst switching to the body and head of his trainer.

Despite his age, the 57-year-old showed off some surprising speed which he clearly still possesses to an extent from his days as a world champion.

And fans were left gobsmacked by his shots, with one writing: “That man is not 57, he moves like he’s 30.”

Another agreed, writing: “The beast even at 58 he still has serious strength and stamina.”

A fan even wrote: “Dude how does he move that fast?”

Fans also feared for Paul, with one adding: “Jake Paul is in trouble.”

One even added: “I don’t care how old Mike gets. I would never volunteer for him to hit me lol.”

A viewer joked: “Good luck Jake Paul (He messed with the wrong retired fighter).”

While a final fan concluded: “50+ years old and he still has this power.”

Of course, the footage is Tyson hitting a static target, and experts are concerned for the health of the retired legend.

There will be a 31-year age gap between the pair, and KOs will be allowed even if the pair do fight under exhibition rules.

Plus, he will need to pass some medical tests in advance, or the fight is likely to be cancelled.

Despite criticism, the former undisputed champion believes he has what it takes to beat Paul and has insisted anyone who has suggested otherwise is ‘jealous’.

Tyson is unsurprisingly stepping back in the ring, given the possibility to earn a lucrative $20million [£16million] purse on the night.

But it could be a sad ending for Tyson if he is beaten, having made his final competitive bow in 2005.

In that fight, he quit on his stool against journeyman Kevin McBride after trying to break his arm during the contest.

“I realised, I don’t think I have it any more,” he explained in a remarkably honest post-fight interview while effectively confirming his retirement at the time.

“I’ve got the ability to stay in shape but I don’t got the fighting guts anymore. I’m just fighting to take care of my bills basically.

“I don’t have the stomach for this no more. I’m more conscious of my children. I don’t have that ferocity, I’m not that animal anymore.”
