University Of Maiduguri Lecturer, Dr. Kamar Abdulkadir Brutally Murdered In Office
Tragedy struck the University of Maiduguri as Dr. Kamar Abdulkadir, a respected lecturer in the Department of Physical Health Education, fell victim to a brutal attack by unknown assailants.
According to reports, the assailants clandestinely infiltrated Dr. Abdulkadir’s office on Sunday, March 31, 2024, where they launched a vicious assault using a combination of weapons, including a knife and hammer.
Sources familiar with the incident, speaking to security expert Zagazola Makama, revealed the horrifying details of the attack. Dr. Abdulkadir was discovered lifeless, sprawled in a pool of blood, bearing multiple wounds inflicted by his assailants.
“It was a scene of unimaginable brutality,” one source disclosed. “Dr. Abdulkadir valiantly attempted to defend himself, resulting in his hands being brutally maimed by the attackers. They mercilessly struck him with a hammer, delivering fatal blows to his head and spinal cord, tragically ending his life.”
In addition to perpetrating this heinous act, the assailants callously absconded with Dr. Abdulkadir’s vehicle and other valuables, compounding the grief and shock gripping the university community.
As authorities launch an intensive investigation to apprehend the perpetrators, the University of Maiduguri mourns the loss of a dedicated educator and condemns the senseless violence that has robbed the institution of one of its own.
