Waldrum, among the first arrivals at the team’s camp on Sunday night, is gearing up for the intense matches.
Joining him is Rasheedat Ajibade, expected to be among the early arrivals as the Super Falcons’ camp opens for the African final qualifying fixture against the Banyana Banyana.
The team anticipates the presence of notable players such as young defender Shukurat Oladipo, veteran goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi, Japan-based Chidinma Okeke, and Spain-based forward Gift Monday, all awaited in camp on Monday.
While the bulk of the squad is set to assemble by Tuesday, reigning African queen Asisat Oshoala, currently based in the USA, is not expected until Thursday.
The first leg of the qualifier is slated to take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Friday, followed by the return leg at the Loftus Versfeld arena in Pretoria five days later.
