Paddy Pimblett posts funny footage of his live reaction to ‘f***ing legend’ Max Holloway’s last-gasp KO at UFC 300

Paddy Pimblett was stunned like every fan watching UFC 300.

The lightweight fighter has shared footage of his live reaction to Max Holloway brutally knocking out Justin Gaethje in the final second of their BMF title fight in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Pimblett’s funny footage begins with him praising Holloway for standing and trading with Gaethje in the final moments of their fight, despite being up on the scorecards.

“He’s such a savage,” he said with an excited chuckle.

Moments later, ‘The Baddy’ is seen with his mouth wide open after watching Holloway deliver an overhand right that sends Gaethje crashing face-first to the floor.

Pimblett screams ‘Oh my God’ and covers his mouth with both hands.

The 29-year-old scouser says the same phrase three more times before adding: “That is one of the sickest knockouts I’ve ever seen in my life.”

“Max Holloway, you f***ing legend!

“Oh my God! Lad, he’s getting $600,000.”

UFC CEO Dana White usually gives out several $50,000 bonuses after his events, but he revealed four $300,000 bonuses would be on the line at UFC 300.

Naturally, Holloway got a bonus for scoring the best KO of the show, but he also banked an extra $300,000 – as Pimblett predicted – when White called his clash with Gaethje the Fight of the Night

The UFC boss was just as excited as everyone else post-fight.

UFC lightweight Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett called out and branded a ‘sh*tebag’ by former Cage Warriors champion Paul Hughes as Irish fighter becomes free agent

“It was incredible,” White said at a press conference.

“That fight sucked the f***ing life out of everyone tonight. The next two fights everyone was sat there looking dead, it was a massive adrenaline dump.

“People always ask me what I do, I sell holy s*** moments for a living.

“That was the ultimate holy s*** moment of all time. If you were at home, if you were in a bar or you were live tonight there is no bigger holy s*** than that.

“That’s why Max Holloway is beloved – and Gaethje. How many times have you seen a fight when you know the guy is winning, they click the ten-second thing and then the guy puts his hands up and just moves around?

“He’s got the fight won and he’s in there with one of the most dangerous f***ing fighters in the business and he says ‘let’s do this’ and they both oblige.

“One second left and a knockout like that, that’s like movie s***.”
