WWE legend Goldberg delivers vicious spear to helpless Bucs fan in Tom Brady jersey
Goldberg is still as terrifying as ever.
The WWE superstar was at the Atlanta Falcons vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, and showed he’s still not to be messed with by performing his iconic finisher on a fan.
A clip shared to social media showed the 56-year-old making his way to the field before kick off where he was greeted by a Bucs fan wearing a Tom Brady jersey.
The WWE Hall of Famer and WCW legend strutted his stuff wearing Falcons’ merchandise before throwing his cap in the air and delivering a vicious spinebuster on the hapless fan.
“Absolutely epic moment from Bill Goldberg,” one person tweeted on Sunday.
The fan was obviously in on the act and played along expertly.
He remained on the floor as Goldberg got to his feet where he was given a replica championship belt by the Falcons mascot.
“This is crazy,” one fan remarked.
“One of the most iconic moves in Wrestling history,” another said.
“This is super wild fr,” a third added.
Before embarking on a career in professional wrestling, Goldberg played for the Falcons between 1992 and 1995 after being picked in the 11th round of the 1990 NFL draft.
He played 14 games and made one start in his four years in the NFL, all with the Atlanta Falcons.
The 6-6 Falcons have a one-game lead over the 5-7 Buccaneers for first place in the NFC South and are coming off victories against the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets.
The Bucs, meanwhile, just beat the Carolina Panthers 21-18.
Tampa lead the Falcons 19-10 through the third quarter in a game that has major playoff implications in the NFC.
