VDM regains freedom
Controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan has been released five days after his incarceration in police custody.
The development was disclosed by a lawyer and human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, who posted pictures of him and VDM.
The activist wrote, “After 5 days of back and forth, we have secured VDM’s release. Thank you to everyone that made this happen especially, SOWORE, Kefiano & VDM’s wonderful lawyers.”
Also, the presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, while also reacting to VDM’s release described his release as good news on Easter Day.
Sowore said, “Good news on Easter Sunday! Verydarkblackman is now free! Thanks for all your efforts to ensure oppression will not always win! #RevolutionNow

Recall that men of the Nigeria Police Force arrested VDM over the allegation of exposing Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, to cyber attacks.
It was gathered that the actress reported the case to the police after VDM claimed she co-runs the popular anonymous blog, Gistlover.
According to Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, who broke the news, “Social media critic, Very Dark Man is presently in a cell in Abuja. He was arrested some hours ago for allegedly cyberbullying Actress Tonto Dikeh and and alleging that she co-runs toxic blog, gistlover, that has earned her threat to life from people looking for the owner of the blog”.
