After recovering from an adductor injury that sidelined him for three months, Boniface has been gradually reintegrated, making two substitute appearances in recent matches against Fortuna Dusseldorf and Union Berlin.
With the Nigerian forward now fully fit, Alonso revealed during a press conference that Boniface is likely to feature from the kick-off in the crucial European encounter against West Ham.
“Boniface is fully fit to play, so he could be used from the start tomorrow,” the Leverkusen manager told a presser.
Alonso also expressed confidence in the Forward’s readiness, highlighting his impressive performance in the Europa League this season.
The 23-year-old has already notched four goals and provided one assist in five appearances for Bayer Leverkusen in the competition.
