Troops ambush bandits plotting attacks on Zamfara communities

The Nigeria Air Force, a component of the Operation Haderin Daji, OPHD, has ambushed bandits plotting to unleash terror attacks on some communities in Zamfara State.

DAILY POST gathered that the fleeing bandits were ambushed in a force operation at Makaruwa village.

The plotted attack was a reprisal targeted at some villages before the OPHD troops swooped on them.

According to the spokesman of OPHD, Lieutenant Sulieman Omole, the operation underscored the relentless pursuit of peace and security in Northwest Nigeria, signaling a resolute stand against criminal elements threatening the region’s stability.
