Tottenham teammates give Heung-Min Son and Destiny Udogie hilarious New Year's resolutions

A handful of Tottenham players were asked to give their teammates some New Year’s resolutions – and they did not disappoint.

Among the players to receive a warm welcome to 2024 were Heung-min Son and Destiny Udogie.

Pedro Porro was asked what Son’s New Year’s resolution should be on Instagram.

The Spaniard replied: “Be more handsome. Score more goals and be champion of the Asian Cup. Is ok?”

Son has left Tottenham to join up with the South Korea squad as they bid to win the Asian Cup this month.

As well as the Spurs captain, Udogie came in for it with Eric Dier taking a jovial pop.

The centre-back was asked to come up with a New Year’s resolution for any player and he replied: “Destiny stops getting suspended.”

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was also asked the same question and he said with laughing emojis: “Destiny spending more time in the gym.”

Udogie has already missed two matches through suspension after getting five yellow cards and a red card in the Premier League.

But there can be no denying that the left-back has been one of the best performers for Tottenham this season after being brought into the first-team by Ange Postecoglou.

The Italian had spent last season on loan at Udinese but is one of the first names on the teamsheet now in north London.

As for Son, Spurs will be missing their captain for some crucial clashes in the near future.

After jetting off with South Korea, Son could miss up to six games for Tottenham, including the FA Cup trip to Burnley and a huge match against Manchester United.

Among the other Tottenham stars to face the wrath of their teammates were Richarlison, who Emerson Royal told to “change his hair” and Pedro Porro, who Bryan Gil told to “win some trophies”.

Surely that’s the entire club’s hope for 2024.
