Tinubu Insulted Jonathan And His Wife – Briggs

Environmental and human rights activist, Ann-Kio Briggs has stated that former president Goodluck Jonathan doesn’t have any votes to supply the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Briggs, throughout an interview with Punch, stated Tinubu must be ashamed for paying Jonathan a go to.

She defined that the previous lagos governor had verbally insulted Jonathan and his spouse, Persistence, over his presidential bid a number of years again as a result of he was a minority candidate from Ijaw within the Niger Delta.

She argued that in Jonathan’s administration, Tinubu was considered one of his main opponents, who mobilised in opposition to him and known as him all types of derogatory names

She stated: “Politics in Nigeria is a dirty recreation about personalities, not concerning the folks. If not, Tinubu ought to be too ashamed to go to Jonathan and sit down on a chair in his home.

“This can be a man (Tinubu) that can’t differentiate between politics of ideology and shameful politics. They hauled insults at him (Jonathan), they hauled insults at his spouse.

“They constructed effigies to mock Jonathan; they organised ‘Occupy Nigeria’ and paraded with coffins and did every kind issues in opposition to Jonathan. As we speak, they’re shamelessly visiting Jonathan, sitting on his chair in his home.”
