Seyi Sodimu, Awilo, AG Baby, To Perform At AMVCA10

It’s a mix of the new and old generation of music stars at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) main ceremony as Seyi Sodimu, Awilo, AG Baby, Chike, Kcee and Shaffy Bello are set to perform at its 10th edition.

Based on the lineup, Seyi Sodimu and Shaffy Bello are likely to perform their 1997 classic ‘Love Me Jeje.’ Congolese music legend Awilo Longomba is expected to bring a wave of nostalgia with performances of his hit singles ‘Coupe Bibamba,’ ‘Gate Le Coin,’ and ‘Bundelele.’

The new generation stars are predicted to perform their chart-topping singles to ‘deliver unforgettable performance’ that’ll have viewers dancing. According to the organisers, the lineup was chosen in an attempt to celebrate artistes who have paved the way for today’s music stars.

Since 2013, the AMVCAs have been committed to celebrating African talents and storytellers while recognising their contributions to the film industry. This year marks ten years of celebrating talents.

The 10th edition of the AMVCAs will be held from Friday, May 10 – Saturday, May 11, 2024. The main ceremony will be shown across Africa Magic Channels from 7 pm.
