Paul Onuachu stole the show with a spectacular hat-trick and an assist during Trabzonspor’s 4-2 victory over Gaziantep in Turkish Super Lig encounter on Sunday.

Trailing 2-0 at half-time, Trabzonspor initiated a remarkable comeback, spearheaded by Onuachu.

Before this match, The Nigerian’s last goal dated back to January 11 in a 2-1 victory against Samsunspor.

On Sunday, he got his team off the mark five minutes after resuming the second half, before turning provider, setting up Enis Bardhi for the equalizer in the 65th minute.

Just past the hour mark the Nigerian showed up again and with a quick fire brace (66′ and 68′) he completed a stunning hat-trick to guide his team to victory.

So far in 18 league appearances for Trabzonspor, Paul Onuachu has now scored 12 goals and notched four assists.

The victory moves Trabzonspor to third place in the league standings with 58 points, boosting their chances of qualifying for the Europa League.
