Nkem Owoh’s Family Announces Burial Date For Late Daughter

The family of veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, has announced the burial arrangement of his second daughter, Kosisochukwu.

Naija News reported that the movie star was called out in July for abandoning his family, which allegedly led to the death of his daughter.

A man in a video shared on social media alleged that the actor had been unkind to his family and had refused to fulfil his responsibilities as the head of the household.

The man who claimed to be related to the wife of the actor accused him of prioritizing his career over his family.

According to him, the actor’s late daughter, Kosisochukwu, who died battling liver cancer, had countless times begged her father to sponsor her treatment abroad, but he did nothing until she eventually lost the fight.

He claimed that whenever Nkem Owoh is called to render assistance, he claims he’s busy with work on movie sets.

He also alleged that the actor and his wife had been separated for more than 15 years, which made him abandon the children with their mother.

The burial arrangement for Kosisochukwu, as announced by the family on Friday, showed that she would be buried on August 24.

It read: “The family of Nkem Owoh (Osuofiasn) of Umunevo Owonta of Umungwu clan in Amagu village, Udi town, Udi local government, Enugu State regrets to announce the death of our daughter. The deceased will be buried on August 24.”
