Nasarawa United get new management team

The Nasarawa State Government has appointed Dr Othman Ibrahim Ahmed as the new chairman of Nasarawa United Football Club.

Ahmed’s appointment was announced in a statement by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.

The appointment was in furtherance of the Governor Abdullahi Sule administration’s commitment to rejig the club to regain its rightful place on the domestic scene.

Ahmed will be assisted by Solomon Babanjah and Musa Adamu who will serve as team manager and member respectively.

Former Nasarawa United player, Musa Adamu, and Musa Usman Oruma were also appointed as members of the new five-man management committee.

The newly appointed team is expected to resume duty with immediate effect.

Nasarawa United will participate in the 2023-24 Nigeria National League season.

The new season is expected to start on October 28, 2023.
