Hajj 2023: NAHCON chairman inaugurates national medical team

No fewer than 1,750 seats were reportedly allocated to intending pilgrims from Taraba State by the National Hajj Commission, NAHCON.

The spokesperson of the Taraba State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Hamza Baban Muri, stated this on Thursday in Jalingo, the state capital.

According to Baban Muri: “The board reserved 100 seats for the state government, but because of the transition of power and the fact that the new administration has no money, we reduced it to 50, and out of the 50 seats, the new government has so far paid for the officials of the board.”

He said the board has concluded all the necessary arrangements to start airlifting intending pilgrims to the Holy Land in Saudi Arabia this Saturday.
