Melaye Speaks On Shekarau’s Defection To PDP

The spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Marketing campaign Organisation, Dino Melaye, has welcomed the former Governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau, to the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP).

Naija Information remembers that the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, the celebration’s Nationwide Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu and different celebration leaders welcomed Shekarau again to the celebration in Kano State on Monday.

Shekarau defected together with hundreds of his followers and supporters after accusing the New Nigeria Peoples Social gathering (NNPP), presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, of betrayal and breach of belief.

Previous to the 2015 normal elections, the previous Minister of Schooling was a member of the PDP however left for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2018.

Talking throughout an interview on Come up TV on Tuesday, Melaye expressed confidence that Shekarau won’t go away the celebration once more, dismissing claims that the previous governor is a “serial defector”.

The previous Kogi Central Senator identified that the previous governor defected to the PDP with tons of of hundreds of his followers and supporters.
