Man arraigned for punching LASTMAwoman, touching breast

A 37-year-old man, Saheed Adisa, has been arraigned earlier than Justice of the Peace F.M Onamusi of the Ogba Justice of the Peace Courtroom, Lagos State, for allegedly assaulting an official of the Lagos State Visitors Administration Authority, Salami Bukola, whereas she was on obligation.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the defendant allegedly punched Bukola’s face and indecently touched her breast whereas she was finishing up her duties across the beneath bridge space, within the Ikeja space of the state.

Adisa is charged with five-counts bordering on assault, indecent physique contact, and physique accidents.

The costs learn partly, “That you just, Saheed Adisa, beneath the Ikeja Magisterial District, did assault one Salami Bukola, a LASTMA officer, by giving her fist blows on her face.

“That you just, Saheed Adisa, beneath the aforementioned magisterial district, did indecently assault one Salami Bukola, a LASTMA officer, by touching her breast unlawfully in public.

“That you just, Saheed Adisa, beneath the aforementioned magisterial district, did assault one Salami Bukola, a LASTMA officer, by giving her fist blows on her face which triggered her damage in her nostril.”

Adisa pleaded not responsible to all the fees.

The prosecuting counsel, Odugbo Harmless, stated that the defendant dedicated the crime round 1.30pm at Ikeja beneath bridge, an offence opposite to Part 174 and punishable beneath Part 174 (e) of the Felony Legislation of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.

Nonetheless, Justice of the Peace Onamusi, granted the defendant bail of N200,000 with two cheap sureties and additional adjourned the matter till September 12, 2022.
