Police arrest 10 suspected kidnappers in Kaduna

Kwara State police command, on Tuesday, confirmed the abduction of the wife of a serving lawmaker in the State House of Assembly and her two children.

Spokesman of the command, Okasanmi Ajayi, who confirmed the incident, said details were still sketchy.

He, however, promised to make the comprehensive details of the incident available at the right time.

The lawmaker, Lawal Ayanshola Soliu’s wife was abducted at about 10:00 am alongside their two children at their Shao residence in Moro Local Government of Kwara State by AK-47-wielding men.

The dare-devil gunmen stormed their residence shooting sporadically before abducting the three victims.

Lawal Ayanshola Soliu is the All Progressives Congress, APC, member representing Ipaye/Malete/Olooru Constituency of Moro Local Government in the House of Assembly.
