Former President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State of maliciously utilizing the ‘O to ge’ marketing campaign to oust the Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP) from authorities.

Based on Saraki, the technique was adopted to deceive the individuals of the state simply to win elections.

The previous Senate president said this on Sunday whereas receiving members of the ruling APC within the state who defected to the PDP.

The APC gained the 2019 normal elections within the state, successful the governorship seat, the three Senate seats, six Home of Representatives seats and 24 state Home of Meeting seats.

Talking on the previous occasion whereas receiving defectors from the social gathering, Saraki described the 2019 ‘O to ge’ motion adopted by the APC to win the elections as tissues of lies.

He mentioned: “However Kwarans have learnt their classes in a bitter method now. I’m assured that the PDP will ship the APC away from the Authorities Home in 2023 by the grace of God.”

The politician defined that he was optimistic due to the poor efficiency of the present Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.

Residents of the state each indigenes and non indigenes at the moment are regretting that they mistakenly voted for the present authorities in 2019,” he added.

The defectors, who have been led by Kayode Ogunlowo, said that they left the APC due to victimization and intimidation by the current administration within the state.
