Kaduna: Police announce restriction of movement during governorship/assembly election
The Kaduna Police Command has announced the restriction of movement on Saturday, following the Governorship/State House of Assembly election scheduled for March 18, 2023 across the 23 local government areas of the state.
DSP Muhammad Jalige, Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna Command in a statement on Friday, noted that the Commissioner of Police on election duty deployed to Kaduna State Command CP Sunday Babaji has ordered for strict enforcement of the restriction of human and vehicular movements into and within Kaduna State.
According to him, the order was in compliance with the directives of the Inspector General of Police, adding that the restriction movement would take effect from (0000hrs to 1800hrs) of Saturday, March 18, 2023.
It also advised that there would be no gathering and campaign during the period.
