Jude Bellingham is a freak – look what he’s doing at that age with those players at Real Madrid, says Kyle Walker

Kyle Walker has heaped praise on Jude Bellingham, describing the young sensation as ‘a freak’.

The Real Madrid star has the reputation of being one of world football’s most talented young stars after taking to life at the Bernabeu like a duck to water.

Since joining from Borussia Dortmund, the 20-year-old has scored 20 goals and offered nine assists for his Madrid teammates, while also nailing down his spot as one of England’s star men.

He’s even been likened to Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane by former Brazilian striker, Ronaldo.

Walker will no doubt be lining up alongside Bellingham at this summer’s European Championship, with the full-back explaining exactly why the former Birmingham City graduate is so special.

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand presents FIVE, Walker said: “He’s a freak.

“The athleticism on him to go from box to box – he can defend, he can attack, he’s got skill and he’s got goals on him. You can see it with the goals that he’s producing.

“The confidence to go to Real Madrid at his age and do what he’s doing – you don’t do it, do you?

“If I signed there I wouldn’t be doing this but that’s the young men these days that have got a confidence about them.

“Erling (Haaland) too, they’ve got a confidence and an arrogance about them. You don’t want it to be too much where it’s like, ‘I don’t want to speak to you now’, but he’s lovable as well and that’s what makes him.

“He’s a brand and I wish him nothing but success unless he plays against Manchester City!”

Clearly recorded ahead of time, Walker will face Bellingham in the Champions League with Man City drawn against Madrid in the quarter-finals.

That fixture takes place on Tuesday, April 9 and will be live on talkSPORT 2.
