‘I’ll take care of your son’ – Bella Shmurda’s message to Mohbad.

Bella Shmurda reaches out to his late friend, Mohbad, with a promise to be there for his son.

In a heartwarming message to the late singer, Bella Shmurda stated he is still having trouble getting over the shock of losing Mohbad.

He claimed that since his friend’s death, he has turned into an alcoholic.

The singer lamented the fact that his kid, Abiola Liam Imole, will not know the man who inspired his name—Mohbad.

With a heartfelt commitment, Shmurda vowed to lend a helping hand, offering reassurance that he would step in to care for Mohbad’s young son.

He pledged to look after his son Liam and carry on Mohbad’s heritage.

Sharing a picture of his late friend,Mohbad, Bella Shmurda wrote:

You told me to stop it [mourning].I have been trying. I just hope you’re okay where you are, cos I have not been happy for days. I have been drinking and going back and forth on how to move on.

“It’s sad that Abiola Imole never get to know you. But be rest assured [that] I will tell your story. And I will definitely take care of our fruit [son]. I’m passing all the love to our sons.

“Lol. Lowkey, I’m Bell and Sons Inc.”

Recall that the late singer, Mohbad died on the 12th of September, at the age of 27. 

Reports from entertainment journalist Ovie on X (formerly Twitter) indicate that the 27-year-old Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. However, the exact cause of his demise remains undisclosed at this time.

It’s worth noting that Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but departed from the label in 2022. He had gained widespread recognition for his hit singles such as “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” in collaboration with Rexxie.
