Ilechukwu’s Mind Games Ahead of Plateau United vs Bendel Insurance Clash

Plateau United head Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu says all hands must be on deck for the next game against Bendel Insurance.

Shooting Stars edged the visitors in an exciting 5-game thriller, but Ilechukwu couldn’t be more proud about the character of his team.

This weekend the Plateau United coach will hope for more clinical execution they they host the very impressive Bendel Insurance at the Jos New Stadium.

Insurance are the only unbeaten team this season in the NPFL – across the groups – but they have dropped points in the last two games since the resumption of the league.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s clash, Ilechukwu served the first salvo, declaring that Plateau United will end Insurance’s unbeaten streak.

“It’s a hundred percent possible to take revenge on Bendel Insurance. Last season Rivers were 14 games unbeaten coming to Plateau United but we beat them.

“So, that one is not a problem. The most important thing is to psyche the team up, but we will beat Insurance on Sunday,” He said.

Plateau United are currently fifth on the table following the 3-2 defeat to Shooting Stars.
