Harry Kane second among highest paid players with contract putting him ahead of Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah

Harry Kane is one of Europe’s deadliest strikers and is paid accordingly.

Since moving to Bayern Munich from Tottenham last summer, the striker has been making an eye-watering £1.8million per month.

But despite his mind boggling income, the 30-year-old isn’t the highest earner across Europe’s top five leagues.

Paris Saint-Germain and France star Kylian Mbappe sits at the summit of a list of nine stars’ earnings, according to French news outlet L’Equipe.

The Frenchman is on more than double Kane’s salary, banking £5.2m per month.

This will change when he signs for Real Madrid this summer, though.

Manchester City’s superstar duo Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland come in third and fourth respectively.

De Bruyne earns £1.7million, whilst his teammate Haaland is on slightly less on £1.6million.

There’s no denying the Man City pair are worth their whopping wages considering they helped drive them to the treble last term.

El Clasico rivals David Alaba and Robert Lewandowski come in at fifth and sixth.

Real Madrid’s Alaba is on £1.61million, just shy of Haaland’s £1.63million, whilst Barcelona’s Lewandowski is on £1.6million.

The Premier League’s stars fill the rest of the top nine, with Manchester United’s Casemiro earning £1.5million after signing from Real Madrid in 2022.

Ex-Arsenal star Perry Groves believes Manchester City’s Erling Haaland gets in every team except Bayern Munich because of Harry Kane

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is on the same wage, with his contract expiring next year.

Reds fans will be hoping they can hold on to their Egyptian King with a new and improved contract that would push him up this list.

Finally, Man United’s Raphael Varane takes home £1.47million per month.

It may not be long until we see some new names on this list if the summer transfer window provides the huge moves we’re expecting.
