“First to do no dey pain” — Netizens reacts as throwback post of Burna Boy’s dissing Davido resurfaces amidst ‘new cat’ tag

The Afrobeat singer Davido Adeleke is supported by netizens after Burna Boy’s old-school diss post surfaced amidst the claims of him being a new cat.

It is noted that O.B.O referred to the a self-proclaimed African Giant and other top-rated vocalists in the entertainment sector as a “new cat” during a recent interview.

However, internet users discovered a 2018 Snapchat message by Burna Boy where he implied that Davido cannot sing but exists because his father has the money to buy him a job in the entertainment business.

In his words, “You cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team But your daddy bought the football team.”

The throwback diss has since divided fans of both singers as some called it a fair game while others condemned the diss as unnecessary.
