Roma later confirmed that Ndicka was conscious and had been taken to the hospital for further checks.

A statement from the club reassured fans about Ndicka’s condition and announced that the game was suspended with the score tied at 1-1.

The Roma players showed solidarity by huddling together on the field, and both teams were briefed by the referee before leaving the pitch.

Hours later, the club provided another update, showing Ndicka sitting up in his hospital bed and in good spirits, with his teammates visiting him for support.
