Davido unveils Uganda varsity’s music faculty
Grammy-nominated singer, Davido, known for his artistic prowess has inaugurated a new course ‘Faculty of Music and Arts’ at the International University of East Africa (IUEA) in Kampala, Uganda.
The Nigerian artiste disclosed this in videos and pictures shared on his Instagram story on Friday.
The multiple award-winning singer was also given a special award during a lavish ceremony at the university. The award bore the inscription “Davido Hall,” which denotes the dedication of a recently built hall on the campus in his honor.
The singer was seen launching the hall and announcing the official opening of the course by cutting the ceremonial ribbon that was fastened to a board that had the names of the new faculty members.
