Davido Reacts After Music Producer, Napji Called Him Out Over Unpaid Royalties
Nigerian Music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has responded to the call out made against him by Music producer, Napji over unpaid royalties.
Music producer Napji had publicly confronted Davido, accusing him of failing to pay royalties for his work.
Napji said he produced three songs off Davido’s 2020 album, ‘A Better Time,’ but was yet to receive royalties for the songs.
He promised to release more details as he seeks to collect his royalties.
On his X handle on Tuesday, Napji wrote: “I am Napji, producer behind Fem, Jowo and Sunlight on @davido album (A better time).Which was released 13th November 2020.
“I was paid an advance of 500 thousand naira for each of the songs. I will be releasing more information as I seek to collect my royalties & publishing.”
In response, Davido simply wrote: ‘Ur papa’ in his comment section
