Atiku, Shehu Sani Reacts To Attack On Ifeanyi Ubah’s Convoy

Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP) chieftains, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Shehu Sani have condemned the assault on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s convoy on Sunday by some hoodlums.

Naija Information had reported earlier that unknown gunmen on Sunday, September 11, ambushed the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District within the ninth Nationwide Meeting.

Some aides of the politician together with safety brokers have been reportedly killed with many injured throughout the assault alongside Enugwu-Ukwu street in Anambra State yesterday.

Taking to his verified Twitter web page some hours later, Atiku who’s hoping to turn out to be Nigeria’s subsequent president come 2023 condemned the assault in its totality.

The PDP’s presidential candidate commiserated with the household of the bereaved and people injured, saying there’s a lot to do to safe the lives of residents within the nation.

Atiku’s tweet reads: “The assault on the convoy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah stands condemned. My condolences go to the households of these injured and killed within the assault. I share my sympathy with the Distinguished Senator. Might the souls of the departed Relaxation In Peace.

“We’ve acquired work to do to make sure that security and safety return to our pricey nation.”

In a separate tweet, Sani who represented Kaduna Central within the eighth Nationwide Meeting additionally condemned the assault describing it as unlucky.

The previous lawmaker mentioned: “The lethal assault on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and the killing of his aides is unlucky, tragic and condemnable.”
