Aston Villa join two other Premier League clubs in race for Chelsea striker Armando Broja

Aston Villa are the latest Premier League club showing an interest in Chelsea striker Armando Broja, talkSPORT understands.

Chelsea also remain open to signing Villa forward Jhon Duran.

The Blues are open to offers for Broja, with Wolves and Fulham also keen.

Broja has endured a disjointed time at Stamford Bridge after suffering a serious knee injury in late 2022.

Missing much of the 2022/23 season, the 22-year-old returned to action in September but has been eased back into the fold in the months since.

So far this term, Broja has started just seven matches in all competitions, making 17 appearances in total and scoring just two times.

talkSPORT understands that Chelsea would want at least £35million for the Albania international.

They could be willing to let him leave on loan, should they be able to sign a replacement.

Duran has struggled to get a place in Aston Villa’s side due to Ollie Watkins’ fine form.

The 20-year-old only signed for the Villa last January in a deal worth an initial £14.75m.

West Ham have already seen an approach for the striker turned down this month.
