Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala tasted defeat as her team, Bay FC, succumbed to a 5-2 defeat against Kansas City in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), on Sunday.

This loss is Bay FC’s third defeat in five games, highlighting a tough start for the newcomers in the American women’s football scene.

Despite Oshoala’s efforts, she has yet to add another goal to her tally since scoring their first ever goal in the competition.

In another match, Michelle Alozie faced a similar fate as her team, Houston Dash, suffered a 4-1 defeat against the Portland Thorns.

Despite playing in a more advanced role as a full-back, Alozie couldn’t sway the outcome in her team’s favor, as they struggled against the formidable opposition throughout the game.

Oshoala and Alozie will aiming to help their respective club return to winning ways in their next outing.
