Arsenal vs Everton: Latest team news, injury latest, predicted lineups | Football

Arsenal head into the final day of the Premier League against Everton with their title hopes still alive.

Manchester City’s midweek win over Tottenham leaves them within touching distance of a fourth straight title but the Gunners will be ready to pounce if there any slip-ups from Pep Guardiola’s side at home to West Ham United.

Mikel Arteta has a fully fit squad to choose from as they seek to sign off an exceptional season in style.

Both Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu were injury doubts heading into last Sunday’s game against Manchester United with both named in the starting XI as Mikel Arteta kept with an unchanged side.

Saka was subbed off late on at Old Trafford after another injury scare after colliding with the advertising boards after a challenge with Sofyan Amrabat.

The England international received treatment pitch side but was replaced shortly after with Gabriel Jesus onto replace him.

Arteta eased any fears over his winger, explaining in a post-match press conference ‘he is going to be fine’ although he was not spotted in any training pictures released by the club this week.

Elsewhere, Jurrien Timber will be hoping to get some minutes in the final game of the season having recovered from the ACL injury suffered on the opening day of the campaign back in August.

The Dutchman played twice for the Under-21s in late April but has not yet returned to the senior squad. He will be hopeful of marking his return on Sunday.

Arteta will provide will provide the latest team news in his final press conference of the season on Friday.
