Transfer: Arsenal set to make £100million Declan Rice top target

Arsenal has finally sent the relevant paperwork to West Ham for the completion of Delan Rice’s transfer, according to Sky Sports.

The Hammers have now signed off the deal, eight days after they agreed to a fee with the Gunners.

The hold-up was being caused by delays with the paperwork being drawn up by Arsenal’s lawyers.

Arsenal is now expected to announce its club-record signing before Mikel Arteta’s men fly out to the US for a pre-season tour on Sunday.

Rice is understood to have passed his medical already and had been training regularly while on holiday in Portugal.

The England midfielder will become Arsenal’s third major signing this summer after Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
