APC National Chairman, Adamu, Gov Buni Meet In Abuja

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu on Tuesday met with the former caretaker chairman of the ruling party, Mai Mala Buni.

Naija News learnt that Adamu and the Governor of Yobe State discussed issues bordering on the success of APC in 2023.

The Director General of Press and Media to Buni, Mamman Mohammed, in a statement released on Tuesday, said the meeting was held in Abuja.

Mohammed said, “The two leaders had a lengthy discussion bordering on the success of the party in the 2023 general election.

“Governor Buni’s wealth of experience in party administration, reconciliation and magnetic character of attracting people into the party remains unprecedented and a great asset to APC at this crucial moment of electioneering.”

Amidst Rumoured Rift, Bala Mohammed Visits Atiku

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State on Tuesday paid a visit to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

Naija News reports that the visit is coming amidst a rumoured rift between the two PDP stalwarts.

Recall that the Bauchi State governor had sent a letter to the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, accusing Atiku of looking away as crises consumed the party’s structure in Bauchi.

In a statement to newsmen by the New Media Aide to Bauchi Governor, Lawal Muazu Bauchi, Bala Mohammed led a delegation of Bauchi State stakeholders of the PDP to Abuja, on a courtesy visit to Atiku in honour of an invitation by the National Chairman of the Party, Iyorchia Ayu.
