Alleged Naira Abuse: Nigerians React To Arraignment & Bail Of Socialite Cubana Chief Priest

Do people understand this case at all???
From my own understanding.  Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky) pleaded guilty from the beginning of the trial. Hence he was sentenced straight away.
If you pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity. Then your case doesn’t need to go into trial. Hence there would be no case for you to be given bail.
Cabana Chief Priest pleaded not guilty and his case would now go for trial.
The issue now is whether to remand him in custody or grant him bail, so he’ll be coming from home fir the trial which would be coming up in May.
The judge granted him a conditional bail of 10 million naira which he was able to meet. Otherwise,  he’ll be remanded in custody pending the commencement of the trial.
Meeting the bail conditions doesn’t mean he has been found guilty and was able to pay the fine.
Why are people ignorantly hailing him as if he made a fool of EFCC at the court?
His trial is yet to start for crying out loud. People should stop making fool of themselves.
I’ve got nothing against him at all. If he’s found not guilty after the trial. That’s fine.
Meeting a bail conditions doesn’t translate to victory in court.
Ignorance is a crime
