Adamawa Police Nab 39-year-old Alleged Fraudster, Sani Mamman Posing As Ghost

According to a statement released by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, on Saturday, April 20, 2024, the apprehended individual, identified as Sani Mamman, is allegedly a notorious 419 fraudster known for employing various deceptive tactics to swindle individuals of their hard-earned money.

“The Adamawa state police command has on 19/4/2024 apprehended a 39-year-old man who allegedly defrauded unsuspecting victims by pretending to be a ghost. Sounding with different tones,” the statement elucidated.

Elaborating on Mamman’s modus operandi, the statement revealed that the suspect employed multifaceted strategies, including impersonation and manipulation, to carry out his illicit activities, capitalizing on people’s vulnerabilities and fears.
