Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has taken to Instagram to celebrate her 61th birthday in a beautiful way.

The film star, who is the wife of Olu Jacobs, another ace actor, shared a stunning photo and penned a song of appreciation in the Yoruba language which roughly translates to “always praise God.”

The actress who recently threatened a lawsuit against naysayers spreading rumors about her husband’s death rejoiced as she adds a new year.

Taking to her Instagram page, Joke Silva shared an ageless photo of herself, with the caption; 🎼🎶🎵Kasha ma dupe dupe kasha ma dupe dupe…oromi o gbejo we we kasha ma dupe dupe🎶📯🥁🎷Thank you Lord for another year… of your abundant Grace, Mercy and Favour.”

Joke Silva Speaks On Olu Jacobs Rumoured Death

Meanwhile Joke Silva had sent a warning to those spreading false rumors of the death of her husband, Olu Jacobs.

The veteran said that her husband is alive and doing well. She wrote: “Good day everyone, trust all is going well. The Jacobs Clan would love to inform you that Papa J (Olu Jacobs MFR), is alive and well; enjoying himself as always in the comfort of his home and loved ones.”

Joke Silva went on to state that those who keep spreading rumors of the actor’s demise should prepare for legal actions.

She wrote: “To all those who have decided to ignore our last warning regarding fake news kindly prepare for legal action.”

Joke, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, had revealed that her husband has been battling with Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) for a couple of years.

He is dealing with issues and it has been going on for a couple of years. It is known as dementia with Lewy Body. It is a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it is almost like a Parkinson’s type of disease, it affects the brain so you don’t see the shaking. It affects the person,” she said.
