EPL: Why Super Eagles players are battling relegation

The Super Eagles will lock horns with Equatorial Guinea in their opening fixture at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The encounter is slated for Abidjan on January 14, 2024.

The Nigerian national team will take on host nation Cote d’Ivoire in their second match.

The three-time African champions will round up their group stage campaign against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.

The Super Eagles and Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire are favourites to pick the Round of 16 ticket in the group.

The tournament will kick-off in Cote d’Ivoire on January 13 and end on February 11.

Twenty-four countries will be participating in the competition.
