Akwa United head coach, Ayodeji Ayeni has said his side will give their all to beat Enyimba in Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 12 encounter.

Akwa United, third on the table will engage fourth-placed Enyimba, who are a point behind their hosts at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The two clubs are battling to secure a place in the Super Six.

The Promise Keepers held Enyimba to a 0-0 draw when both teams met earlier in the season at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.

Ayeni reckoned the People’s Elephant are a good side but is confident his side will come out victorious.

“We are 100% ready for Sunday’s game against Enyimba. We are not under any pressure, we will go all out with the right mentality because our target is to win the game,” Ayeni told the club’s official website.

“Enyimba is a good team, and we have that respect for them but come Sunday we will give our all on the pitch to ensure we pick all three points. Victory on Sunday will improve our standing in the table and will push us closer to where we want to be.”
