Transfer: Man United move for Sommer as Arsenal become favourites to sign Chelsea winger

Manchester United are interested in Yan Sommer, according to a report on talkSPORT.

Swiss German outlet Blick claim the Red Devils have made Sommer one of three options to be their backup goalkeeper following Dean Henderson’s loan to Nottingham Forest.

Switzerland international Sommer, 33, has been offered fresh terms at Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach and is yet to decide on his future.

Similarly, Arsenal are reportedly shock favorites to make a move for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The England winger is said to be keen to leave Stamford Bridge this summer in pursuit of regular game time after finding his opportunities limited under Thomas Tuchel.

The Chelsea Spot podcast claim Arsenal are in pole position to snap up Hudson-Odoi, with doubts over club record signing Nicolas Pepe’s future at the Emirates.
