Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has told manager, Erik ten Hag that he is ready to play in their Premier League opener against Brighton on Sunday.
The 37-year-old has been trying to get a move away from Old Trafford all summer.
However, despite links with Bayern Munich, Sporting Lisbon and Chelsea, Ronaldo hasn’t received any official offers.
Ronaldo missed most of United’s pre-season preparations and only returned to training with his teammates last week.
The Portugal captain played only 45 minutes in the Red Devils; final pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano last Sunday.
However, he will be available for selection against Brighton and the Daily Mirror reports that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been “flying” in training and has made it clear to Ten Hag that he is fit enough to feature on Sunday.
