Makinde Wins Adelabu's Polling Unit

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has won the polling unit of the Accord governorship candidate, Adebayo Adelabu.

Naija News reports that Makinde, who is running for a second term on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 60 valid votes, while Adelabu got 38 valid votes at his own polling unit at Unit 10, ward 9, Ibadan South East.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Teslim Folarin, polled 22 votes to emerge third in the polling unit, while the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ghaniyu Bamidele, polled one vote and 18 invalid votes.

A total of 138 voters were accredited out of the unit that had 472 voters.
