Kaduna: I'll Be The Servant Of Everyone

The Governor-elect in Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani has promised to be the servant of the people in the discharge of his responsibilities.

He assured that he would be fair and just to all irrespective of their religion, ethnic or tribal affiliations.

According to him, his government would not just be about those who voted for him, but about the people of Kaduna as a whole.

Naija News reports Sani made the vow shortly after he was presented with his certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday.

“Let me thank Allah for this great day and also let me thank the people of the state for this responsibility. I will be the servant of the people. Whether you voted for me or not, I will be equal to all irrespective of religious, ethnic or tribal affiliations,” he said.

Uba said his administration would focus on a seven-point agenda which includes safety, security, agriculture, trade and investment, education, among others.


Naija News recalls Saniwho contested on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) polled 730,002 votes to defeat his closest rival, Isa Ashiru of the PDP who polled 719,196 votes, a difference of 10,806 votes.
