EPL: He’s world-class striker – Rodgers names three Arsenal stars that could hurt Leicester
Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, fears his side will be facing an Arsenal squad that has ‘gone to a new level’ at the weekend.
This is following the Gunners summer recruitment drive that have seen the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko join from Manchester City.
Both players impressed on their debuts in a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last Friday.
Arsenal beat Leicester City home and away last season and are set to face a team that blew a two-goal lead last Sunday against Brentford.
“Arsenal have gone to a new level with the three players who have come into the team,” he told a pre-match press conference ahead of the clash.
“Saliba is a talented player… he’s quick, he can dominate.
“The two guys coming in from Man City have made a difference. They’re coming from a world-class environment. Jesus is a world-class striker.
“Zinchenko can play in a couple of positions to the very highest level.”
