Ademola Lookman ends 9-game goal drought

Ademola Lookman ended his goal drought, finding the back of the net in Atalanta’s Serie A match away at Cremonese, Today.

The Nigerian’s last goal was in January, a run of nine games without a goal, but he successfully ended the drought against the relegation battlers.

Lookman came on as a second half substitute and got his goal in the third minute of stoppage time to make it 3-1 for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.

The Nigerian now has 13 goals in his 27 Serie A appearances, bagging four assists in the process.

Martin De Roon and Jeremy Boga got the other goals for Atalanta, while Cyriel Dessers assisted Daniel Ciofani for the host.

The win means Atalanta sit fifth on 48 points while Cremonese are rock bottom in the league.
